By some miracle I got a Merit - 127. Honestly I didn't think my intonation was off. At least I got full marks in the aural this time. (Click to enlarge)

Mediocre
Well the exam was today. I accompanied several pupils before my own exam and was able to warm up whilst the examiner was having her coffee.
The pieces went well. The aural was fine, although I may not have said the right things about the style of the musical example; you never can tell as they give little away in facial gesture or body language.
The scales were terrible; after all the work I have done I was disappointed. The dominant 7th on G just wasn't there and I had really nailed that one in practice sessions. She asked me to play it and I waited to see if she wanted slurred or tongued; I should just have done tongued.
I think I have passed but am not expecting a massive mark.

Grade 4
My exam is tomorrow.
I am tired.
We started back at school last week and I have been on the go ever since.
Monday: I arrived at work at 7.45am and left at 8.00pm after carpentry club.
Tuesday: Ditto.
Wednesday (today): It is fixtures afternoon and I planned to get the exam room ready and all my admin done. But I was told I had a flat tyre so I had to go and get it fixed. I have my 3rd prep of the week on Wednesdays so I grabbed a bite of supper and drove home. I now have a sore lip from playing too much over the last week, I suspect. My scales are unreliable; if I have 3 goes I can do the hard ones.
Ah well - I expect it will be OK
I will let you all know.

Distinction
I had to phone the exam board for my Grade 3 result. They had forgotten to e-mail all our school results.
I got 134 which, considering the panic on the day (the examiner was late and I had to reschedule the whole day of our school visit) wasn't too bad. Comments sheet to follow.
